Where will I be working?

This is a field-based role covering Woking and surrounding territory therefore you will be based at home with travel to clients as required. Within this role you will need to have the ability to travel and at short notice as required.

What will I be doing?

You will be supporting the scientists making next generation pharmaceuticals and biotech products. You will also responsible for selling technologies & services for the company, in order to meet with the company’s revenue targets working within a defined territory and market. Including but not limited to planning daily sales activities, updating the company’s CRM system and building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Managing sales activity, territory coverage and future prospect development to achieve individual set targets.

Working closely with marketing, developing growth targets and appropriate activities.

*

Understanding customer needs, creating solutions and creation of proposals.

*

Nurturing, developing and securing new business to achieve your targets.

*

Responsibility for the profitability and expenditure of activities in line with the company objectives.

*

Visiting customer sites in person to carry out pre sales site surveys in accordance with quality procedures.

*

Maintaining good knowledge of competitor strategy and activity to identify new areas of business growth.

Your profile

A Science, Technical or Business degree or similar or qualified by experience.

*

Familiarity with the work of laboratories within the life sciences and biotechnology sector.

*

Good commercial awareness of the scientific market, with a proven track history in a field-based sales role is desirable.

*

Results-oriented with the drive and enthusiasm necessary to deliver business growth targets

*

Creative, innovative and passionate in your approach to driving sales.

*

Ability to successfully negotiate and close a deal.

*

You will have excellent influencing, communication and negotiation skills and be able to make an immediate impact.

* An adaptable attitude with technical competence and excellent problem solving skills.
