A national Building Service Consultancy established over 35 years ago is now looking to add a Facilities Support. They require a proactive individual to join on a full-time basis, working 36.25 hours per week under our agile framework. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and administration skills.

In your new role as Facilities Support you will be responsible for overseeing the facilities within our 9 regional offices. You will be an integral part of the team and be able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is for someone who has experience as a Facilities Support

• Ensuring our 9 offices are legally compliant and the legal register in maintained
• Ensure our offices remain a place where people want to work
• Review current contracts and negotiate new contracts
• Ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner
• Attend regional offices as and when required to carry out building inspections
• Monitor facilities expenditure and approve associated invoices
• Manage our Solihull Office inhouse Front of House & Cleaning Team
• Provide Health & Safety support
• Oversee utilities contracts
• Manage projects such as office moves / office upgrade projects
• Provide support to the Operations Manager with business improvements
• Support the wider Business Support Team as and when required

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Strong Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook capability
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• 4 years Facilities Management experience
• IOSH Managing Safety
• Full driving licence
