Ortus Talent are working with a fast-growth FinTech who use advanced predictive analytics from spend, location and demographic data to help enterprise retailers and some of the largest banks understand their customers better. Combining purchase insights and loyalty tech, this Fintech helps their clients understand spend behaviour and target personalised messages and to the customers they want to reach. Some of their clients include the likes of American Express, Barclaycard, Natwest and more. As the Head of Business Development, you’ll be managing a team of two Business Development Managers, a Sales Development Representative and Agency Partnerships Manager (and soon to be more!). You’ll also be leading from the front, winning and closing enterprise level contracts with Tier 1 retailers (£50m+ turnover). What you’ll be doing on a day-to-day: Driving the team performance and overseeing recruitment of new hires for the team Develop and implement strategies for the effective targeting and acquisition of key clients Oversee recruitment, training, coaching and development of new business employees Manage, negotiate and close business Support the team on closing deals What your background looks like: 5+ years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets within a technology organisation Ideally 2+ years of people management experience What’s on offer: Salary of up to £100,000 + commission Flexible hybrid work setup with offices in the West End, London (1-2 days a week in the office)25 days annual leave increasing by one day a year to 30 days (plus public holidays) Company holiday between Christmas & New Year (extra 3 days) Private healthcare with Vitality 3pm Friday finish on the last day of the month Regular social events to connect with your team
