We currently have a great opportunity for a HR Administration Team Leader. The successful post holder will be responsible for the monitoring and co-ordination of the HR Inbox activity to meet the fast-paced requirements of our growing business. You will work closely with the HR Administrators to provide an efficient and effective first line response to queries and requests received from colleagues across the business.

You will also be responsible for the monitoring of our processes to ensure quality and delivery of service meets required KPIs. Plus, you will also work with our benefits partners and provide administrative support for delivery of our various schemes, e.g.: pensions, cycle to work, childcare vouchers etc.

This role will be based from our York offices with some flexibility to work from home. 

Main Duties:

  • Co-ordinate and respond to queries received through the HR inbox, both internal and external
  • Support HR Administrators with complex queries
  • Checking accuracy and quality of documents before issue
  • RTW checks
  • Maintain employee files
  • Monitoring process completion
  • Benefits administration
  • Maintain HR pages of Company intranet
  • Assist in production and issuing of HR policies and procedures following updates/changes
  • Assist in production and issuing of employee communications, e.g., pay review letters
  • Assist in processing employee benefits
  • Support the wider HR team, assisting with purchase orders, course bookings, L&D activity
  • Experienced HR administrator, used to working in a high-volume HR Service Centre environment
  • Experience of leading a team (desirable)
  • Confident user of business systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Used to working with databases, trackers, and electronic files
  • Work accurately, with attention to detail
  • A strong communicator – both written and verbal
  • Used to organising your own time and working to deadlines
  • Flexible with the ability to juggle a wide range of tasks
  • Sensitive to our customers’ needs
  • A team player who enjoys working with and helping people
