Having been established nearly 10 years ago, this fast-growing Third-Party Claims Management Provider is seen as somewhat of an industry ‘disrupter’; challenging the status quo and taking market share away from some of its more ‘steady away’ competitors. Increasingly recognised as the ‘go to’ partner for many of the industry’s most respected insurance firms, it has also established itself as the ‘employer of choice’ for those in the know!
Already enjoying a sustained period of growth, and looking to build upon this, this ambitious firm is seeking to appoint several Account Managers or Business Development Managers to ensure its bold plans are realised. This role differs from many competing firms’ offerings, as rather than simply being 100% new business, you continue to manage (and earn commission from) accounts won perpetually, effectively building up your own portfolio of accounts or book of business.
You will build rapport with an existing customer base (for example insurers, brokers and other intermediaries), help to provide an innovative solution to their claims needs, and promote a vast range of claims handling services, whilst also growing your own network of partners.
Being granted a great deal of autonomy, you will work from home and benefit from a robust back-office infrastructure, state of the art IT systems, and a high level of support from a dedicated Service Team at Head Office. Our client has a sophisticated marketing function and will provide you with all the tools to make a highly impressive presentation when in front of clients.
It is essential that you understand how the working parts of the insurance industry fit together, that you have experience of B2B sales, and a ‘little black book’ of contacts within the insurance industry. As this is a home-based position (with quarterly in person meet ups with colleagues around the UK) it is essential that you are self-disciplined, well organised and have excellent task management skills. You must also have well-honed communication skills and be able to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders from all walks of life.
